I've started over again, and here I am!
No, it's not a new year's resolution, either. (Those are actually listed below.)
My last blog, Bayou Girl Blogging, started out with good intentions, then abruptly had someone I apparently worked with tattle-taleing everything that happened with me (yeah, even things that didn't belong at work), and I just kinda went down hill from there with it, and finally stopped back in September. So I'm putting all that behind me, and starting fresh.
I am, in kind of correlated news, making a list. There are a couple things I want to start a new, and some others I want to get back in to.
Writing.
I've been an on again off again writer ever since my teenage years. The last 4 or so years I have almost literally done no writing. (And when I say writing, I mean things other than blogging.) I started two series, didn't get far into them, and started a book/novella, and then got un-interested.
Photography.
In the past year and a half, I've acquired 4 personal cameras, including a fujifilm, 2 canons, and kodak. One of the canons is a super duper one and the fujifilm is pretty good too. I started a project of graveyeards, haven't even scouted out one since at least August. And I've taken minimal pictures since September. I want to be photographing at least every days, or every second day- even if it a snap of my big toe.
Moving.
Traveling. Along with the moving, I want to see things again before I enter the second half of my life. (No, I'm not old, I just don't want to hit my 40's and say I've been here for half my life. So with that, I'll be moving and generally seeing things and places. I've said several years in a row now (literally 5-ish) that I'll be moving. I've had enough this year that if I don't finally do it now, this might be the year I become a recluse forever.
So with no further ado, here's Bayou Girl, and I'll get on ahead with my next post since it's taken me almost 2 weeks to get this one done.

Jan 24, updated the post name to read 2018, not 2017.
